Autonomous 3D Wireless Network Mapping
Drone technology used to map wireless signals.
This project uses a quadrotor drone (otherwise known as quadcopter) to autonomously map wireless signal strength around a building.
The project is multi-staged and involves designing and building the quadrotor platform, specifying sensors for specific wireless technologies (initially 802.11), and designing autonomous geospatial navigation software that can be used to generate a signal-strength to map.
