Ashley Alley is a cybersecurity engineer at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU/APL). Her work focuses on ensuring military system robustness and mission resilience in hostile cyber environments through helping design resilient architectures. Ashley has a Bachelor’s degree in Technology and Engineering Education from Brigham Young University. After graduation, Ashley was employed as a high school broadcast media and computer science teacher. After one year of teaching, she went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Business with an emphasis in Information Assurance from Idaho State University and transitioned into the government and military cybersecurity industry.
